Several decades of research on strategic change and capabilities have brought a new focus to fundamentals of strategy: routines, competencies, capabilities, and learning become a significant part of the strategic theory of the firm. Our audit designed to reflect those developments and accommodate them in everyday management practice.
Our approach is primarily based on the concept of dynamic capabilities which highlights managerial competencies in the long-term economic success. Key layers of dynamic capabilities include organisational processes directed toward learning and innovation and decision frames. Those are the main ingredients of proper strategic management.
